One of a Kind

What I used to value I'm now starting to hate

Isn't that strange?

How something that used to bring you so much contentment

Can now seem limiting and out of your range?

It's very "pluck your eyes out"

For what I've sought for is no more good

The things my soul rested on provide nothing

Compared to what a touch from my Creator could

I understand the sentiment

Of hiding in Thy word

This world I will forsake daily

For encounter with Thee, my Lord

Lord hide me away in your spirit

I don't think the world would mind

Chasten me to set me free

For our relationship is one of a kind
